Dr. Mohammed Nadeem Aqhib is a dedicated Specialist in Paediatric Critical Care with extensive experience in providing high-quality medical care to children. He currently works at the SPARSH Hospital, Yelahanka. He has previously worked at Aster CMI Hospital, Fortis La Femme and Manipal Hospitals in Bangalore.
With an MBBS from Navodaya Medical College, Raichur and a Specialist qualification (DNB in Paediatrics) from St Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore, Dr. Aqhib has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the field. His fellowship training includes a Senior Resident position at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore, specializing in the Indian Diploma in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Over the years, Dr. Aqhib has showcased remarkable clinical and procedural skills. He has good exposure of working in one of the best paediatric critical care units of Bangalore. His expertise spans respiratory, cardiovascular, neurologic, metabolic, nutritional, hematologic, and nephrology aspects of paediatric critical care. This includes advanced procedures such as echocardiography, and renal replacement therapy.
In addition to his clinical proficiency, Dr. Aqhib is actively involved in teaching and research. He has contributed significantly to the education of DNB trainees, nursing/support staff, and junior residents. Dr. Aqhib’s commitment to education extends beyond the hospital walls, as he conducts simulation sessions, BLS and PALS courses, and workshops on non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Dr. Aqhib’s comprehensive approach to paediatric critical care is further evident in his involvement in quality improvement projects, leadership roles, and coordination of organ transplantation. His commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements is highlighted by his engagement in advanced statistics, designing trials, and contributing to Tele-PICU services.
